This mug has an original drawing added by printing the artwork on special decal paper. The pot is then fired a third time. This is a great method to use for detailed artwork, but can only be used on light colored glaze.

Typically, we make a plastic stamp of your logo. The mug is wheel thrown, and then a clay slab is rolled out and we make and stamped impression of the logo, which is added on to the mug. The logo can be stained or glazed to contrast with the glaze of the mug. Pottery is generally fired twice, unless we use a decal, in which it is fired three times.
